HOW does it start

Every Innovvares product starts life as a design, not a finished thing. We sketch it, model it, and print a first version — then look at possible ways of improving it. Does it sit flush against the wall? Is the text legible at every size? Does it hold up to daily use? Whatever the answer, we adjust the design and print again.

That cycle repeats as many times as it takes — reprinting, refining, tweaking dimensions, wall strength, and finish — until a product does exactly what it's meant to do. MyMedal went through several rounds like this before we were happy enough to sell it: adjusting the mounting strip, the nail slot, the exact thickness so it stayed rigid without adding unnecessary weight.

Only once a design has earned its place — properly tested, properly refined — does it become a product you can actually order. It's slower than mass production, but it means what reaches your door has been made and remade until it's right, not just made once and shipped. If we don't like it, we don't sell it!

WHO IT'S FOR



That level of back-and-forth only makes sense for things people actually care about getting right. MyMedal exists because a finish line, a personal best, or a hard-earned achievement deserves better than a mass-produced display box that fits nobody's medal properly. Runners marking a marathon. Parents marking a child's first parkrun. Teams marking a shared win. It's just as suited to a music exam, a dance recital, or a spelling bee — sport isn't the requirement, care is.

As the range grows, every new product goes through the same process for the same reason: real moments deserve something that's been properly worked out, not rushed to shelf. That's who we're designing for — people who'll actually notice the difference between something adjusted until it's right, and something that wasn't.

WHY 3D PRINTED

3D printing is what makes that whole design-and-refine process possible in the first place. We own our printer, so every adjustment — a slightly different wall thickness, a redesigned mounting strip, a new colour — happens in-house, immediately, without waiting on a third-party manufacturer or being locked into a design once it's been committed to tooling.

That control is what lets us print a version, find what's wrong with it, and print again, as many times as it takes, until it's right. It also means every finished product is made to order, not pulled from a warehouse shelf — no leftover stock, no guessing how many to make, and far less waste than mass production.

It's a small British business investing in the equipment to do things properly: refined through iteration, made close to home, not shipped from overseas in bulk.
